Fair & Handsome?

I think it’s interesting/sad that I can’t find any toilitries here that doesn’t promise to make me “whiten” me until I’m “fair”.  Even in the newspaper where you normally have that section about how to get the best tan there was a feature on how to cover up and wear a hat in the sun.
