Assuming ANA flight number NH 1005 touched down safely in Tokyo, my pre-scheduled post on blogger.com works on time, and I can count correctly – something rather special has just occurred. I’ve officially achieved a goal I set for myself a few years back to visit 50 countries before I turn 30. Most people are happy to collect stamps, coins, or in Kanika’s case, stds. I prefer nations and shot glasses (I’m at 300+). Adding to my satisfaction in achieving this goal is the fact that I beat Julee to it – and ironically in her “hood” – Japan.
So what does one do when they’ve travelled to 50 countries in 26 years? Well besides getting the obligatory compass tattoo(check), the logical next step is to set a new goal.
So here goes…
