Well there isn't enough time for me to come home this summer before my job starts. Finding an apartment in Bombay took a bit longer than I would have liked and I still have a ton to do before starting work next week. Plus it occurred to me that if I want to go to business school next year (and permanently return to the US) that I should, perhaps, focus on putting together strong applications instead of hopping onto 20 hour flights for the sole purpose of eating blueberries and Greek yogurt.
However, I’ve worked out a deal with my new employer to push up my start date in exchange for some time off later on to come home. Not sure when yet, but my goal is to celebrate Halloween in the only city that matters, New York City.
