Life is not fair

Hyderabad is essentially shut down today out of fears of communal violence.  I’m not going to get into the details of the political situation because they are so absurd that its not worth anyone's time understanding them.  The real point here is that against this backdrop of agitation and tension.  This backdrop where everyone I know has the day off because their offices have concerns about safety.  This backdrop where all city transport is shut down, stores are closed, and there are protests in the streets.  Against this same background – I STILL HAVE TO GO TO WORK  and sit around doing nothing.
