While in Europe I decided to conduct a highly scientific social experiment to gauge honesty across the Continent.
Exhibit A: In Denmark, I accidently left my iPhone at a bar at 3AM, headed to another bar, and returned 45 minutes later only to find out that someone had found my phone, turned it in, and the bar tender was trying to contact me to return my phone. +15,000 points for Denmark/social welfare/universal health care.
Exhibit B: In Romania, I leave my phone unattended in a closed (but unlocked) locker for 6 minutes before it vanishes forever. -900 points for the former Soviet Union, - 1000 points for me, and -9000 points for Ronald Reagan (just because).
Conclusion: I've once again proven the inherent, natural superiority of all things Scandinavian and the irresponsible, deeply flawed nature of my brain.
